          The Primary mathematics series, Singapore Math, Common Core Edition emphasizes involvement with support from learning materials, teachers, and peers. It provides math learning that is active, rich in natural and mathematical language, and filled with many thought-provoking opportunities.
          In Second grade, children continue to develop a strong number sense They compare numbers to 1,000,work with number bonds, add/ subtract (with and without renaming), learn multiplication/division, work on time, fractions and money.
